Filing a claim

If you got into an accident, please first follow the steps outlined under I got into an accident before filing a claim.

If you or others obtained any injuries or damages while using our vehicles, please contact our insurance company as soon as possible, regardless of severity or blame.

First, collect the following information so that our insurance company can help you as best they can when processing your claim:

  • Your full legal name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your home address
  • A detailed description of the accident
  • Insurance details of any third parties involved
  • Photos of any damages to vehicles or property

To file your claim, go to “Help & legal” then “Report accident” in the Dott app, and follow the steps on screen to contact our insurance company by phone or email. The insurer will provide you with the answers to your insurance questions. If you need any further information, reach out to our Customer Care team at claims-support@ridedott.com.

An important requirement under Dott’s insurance policy is that you NEVER admit any liability when involved in an accident without the approval of Dott’s insurers.
