If you notice charges in your account you don’t recognize, first make sure that no friends or relatives have access to your payment information and have possibly used it for any rides. Then, reach out to your bank or payment provider and ask them to block your account/card. This step will ensure that it won’t be used by any unknown third party, and they’ll also organize any refunds if needed.
If you’re still in doubt, you can always contact our Customer Care team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide the following information for them to investigate any unknown charges:
- Phone number that’s linked to your Dott account
- Type of card/account (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, etc.)
- Last four digits of your bank card number
- Expiration date (MM/YYYY)
- Name on the bank card
